L'antic is a non-profit association (law 1901) whose vocation is to make digital technology a development engine for the Basque Country.
It connects local authorities of all sizes, innovative companies or project leaders, etc. with actions on the digital development of the territory as well as on the development of digital services and uses. It accompanies and advises all those who wish to integrate digital technology into their intervention policies or their development strategy in the Basque Country; it federates and supports local actors in their projects by relying on their synergies.
As a network player par excellence and with the strength of its members, the agency is a true resource center for emerging digital uses from yesterday to today, often unaddressed, to prefigure tomorrow's investments or to help public policy decisions. Through it, emerging digital uses can be tested, experimented, organized and then used in complete autonomy. It is a local DO TANK for the development of digital uses in the Basque Country.
Three types of antic action can have positive impacts on the agglomeration:
- An action of "Consulting - Expertise - Monitoring - Training" whose positive impacts will aim to help in the decision making and the definition of a digital strategy uses;
- An "Innovative projects" action capable of soliciting European funds, particularly cross-border funds, whose positive impacts are to initiate innovative uses, validate concepts, attract expertise and finance reusable investments;
- An action "Valorization of investments (human and/or infrastructure)" whose positive impacts will be to facilitate the adoption of new services (e-administration, co-production of data with citizens...), to valorize the efforts made on open data or on the THD network, to preserve the social link damaged by the digital, etc.
