O2 - European collaborative digital platform

The PEPPY project aims at opening a European digital platform of connection and common resources in three European spaces: Cyprus, France and Italy. This platform will offer different and complementary functionalities.

Submission of projects and constitution of project groups.

A sort of permanent window for projects and young people, this section of the platform will be used upstream of the work on the projects.

Digital work environment

Created specifically for each project group with resources and tools that allow the project the youth group is working on to be completed.

Orientation and support towards a new path

When the young person participates in one or more projects, and discovers skills that he or she had or has acquired, this can make him or her want to move towards one or more training courses / one or more jobs. The sponsor and the tutor then have an advisory role with the young person, supported by third-party organizations such as local missions, etc.

O4 - Competency Marker and Personal Self-Assessment Training Guide

This intellectual production (open source) contains the train-the-trainer program for learning how to actively work on the PEPPY project objectives with a target group of young people .

This program is designed to train trainers in the field, in schools and youth service centers. It is based on the principle of action research, with the aim of facilitating and stimulating lifelong learning and employability, bridging the gap between education and employment in the interests of including young people in their context.

The aim of the PEPPY program is to train trainers in the following areas:

  1. Self-management skills: learning to reflect on one's actions, recognizing one's potential and building on one's learning experiences to create a new or better future.
  2. Assessment: reflect on, value and validate previous learning experiences in a summative and formative way.
  3. Advice and guidance: supporting young people in the process of self-managing their skills to create new perspectives.
  4. Validation management: master the Personal Resource Management (PRM) methodology to manage the PEPPY training model in your own context.

In addition, a portfolio format, a training model, training of trainers to test the model and test training for young people are developed, including assessment forms and certificate formats.

O5 - Recommendations Report

This intellectual production consists of a report of recommendations for a new pedagogical dynamic developing the autonomy of young people. It will be based, among other things, on data from the evaluation of the experimentation and the activities carried out by the project partners.

The PEPPY project aims above all to reinforce innovative pedagogical models to promote the valorization and the adaptability of young people and to develop innovative tools of evaluation and communication on these skills.

Evaluate the progression of key competencies.

Did the experience help them learn new things about themselves in a different way? Did it reveal resources that were unexpected, untapped, or not usually recognized in formal education? What adaptability motivated them? How did they respond when working collaboratively? What new skills did they acquire and master? How can these skills be transposed or used in their training or in building their professional future?

Lessons to be learned for the evolution of territorial pedagogical approaches

Did the support workers or the group leader adopt a different way of relating to the youth after helping them with their projects? How did they do this? To what effect? Did this create any innovative factors? What were the effects of working in a multi-stakeholder training network? What kind of individual contributions did supporting youth with their projects create? What changes were made to individual and group trainings to adapt them to the context and/or differences of the youth projects? What types of ICT, MOOCs, and/or distance learning tools and resources were used to support youth participants? What new or different elements can be introduced into the pedagogical practices compared to those used so far?
